Introduction:
The Legal Entity Risk Governance and Reporting role is responsible to support the LE Risk Governance team overseeing the seamless execution of key governance forums for the region, driving effective oversight for the CROs.
The role holder will:
- Produce consolidated reporting for the US Risk Committees / Forums
- Ensure Risk governance, policies and standards are enforced through the effective execution of the process
- Own the delivery of all Governance committees that are chaired by the Risk Governance team, or the committees that require input from the Governance team
What will you be doing?
To provide high quality Risk reporting, strategy & governance support to the Head of Risk Governance, Americas
- Execute on the governance strategy for the region, ensuring governance is applied coherently within the broader Risk function and Americas region
- Support the execution of the operations of the US Risk Committee
- Ensure risks are reported and escalated in a clear, accurate and timely manner to senior management and the Board
- Maintain key records for the Americas CRO office, including Role Profiles, Corporate governance charts, organizational charts, and approval authorities, ensuring such records are kept up to date.
- Assure high quality work product, including reviews & presentations tailored to appropriate audiences
- Effectively prioritise deliverables based on benefits delivery and impact to organisation
What we’re looking for:
- Strong working experience within Risk division in large complex bank or financial institution
- Strong excel and PowerPoint skills and project management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and proven experience with a range of stakeholders
- High integrity - able to deal with highly confidential and market sensitive information
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Experience of working within Risk, Compliance, Audit, or internal controls environment and frameworks, preferably in the financial sector.
- Strong experience of building and maintaining effective relationships, strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence others and to challenge without being confrontational, adapting their approach to the audience and circumstances.
- Be focused on excellence and execution, resilient and able to work with many and varied deliverables managing global stakeholders
