An experienced **EDM Operator** is required for our company in Umm Al Quwain.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Setting up and operating of EDM machine (ZNC)
- Diploma or certificate in Mechanical
- Experience in the following is required:

- Usage of hand & power tools such as files, saws, grinders, emery papers, and precision measuring devices such as Vernier caliper, micrometers, dial indicators, slip gauges, bore gauges, etc.
- Work experience in the tool room environment, especially injection molds manufacturing
- Achieve the required dimensions and tolerance in the job as
per drawing.
- Assemble specific operations such as matching and fitting of parts with in
- process inspection
- Manual drilling, tapping, etc.

**Job responsibilities**:

- Handle various Job settings with appropriate holding devices and job dialing -vice, v-block, chuck, sine plate, angle plates, and fixtures, etc.
- Electrode setting, machine parameters setting according to job material, stock availability
and finish requirements.
- Basic machine maintenance skills and proper machine cleaning
- Read, understand, and interpret drawings
- Plan the operations and work holding setups
- Set up the required electrode setting with the required spark gap and current
settings as per job finish requirements and tolerances
- Do an inspection of jobs in the machine and prepare inspection reports
- Estimate the time required for each job completion
- Recognize electrode wear and plan replacing or re-cutting of worn out
electrodes
- Manage the functioning of 2 machines at the same time
- Train and assist new operators
- Maintain machine log documents, records and drawings as required

**Salary**: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
