Assistant Marketing Executive

The position will coordinate and drive the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy to launch and establish the restaurant’s brand in the local market. The role involves pre-launch and launch campaigns, content creation, online listings management, external marketing collaborations, and operational engagement with the culinary team to craft a compelling brand story. This position requires a proactive, creative individual with strong digital marketing skills and a passion for Italian cuisine and culture.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Brand Development & Positioning:
Collaborate closely with the core team to understand and articulate the restaurant’s story, legacy, and unique selling points (USPs).
Develop and refine the brand identity, messaging, and visual style to ensure consistency across all channels.
- Pre-Launch & Launch Campaigns:
Design and execute strategic marketing campaigns to generate anticipation before opening and sustain momentum afterward.
Plan promotional activities, influencer collaborations, community outreach, and media engagement to build awareness.
- Digital Presence & Listings Management:
Ensure the restaurant is accurately listed on all relevant online directories (Our own website, Google My Business, TripAdvisor, Dineout, Zomato, etc.)
Regularly update profiles with fresh photos, menus, and latest news.
Manage and respond to customer reviews to enhance reputation.
- Content Creation & Social Media Management:
Develop engaging, high-quality content (images, stories, reels, carousels) for Instagram. Content bucket will be reel-heavy, with at least 12 posts per month (including reels and carousel posts).Stories will be unlimited and used for real-time updates, behind-the-scenes, and engagement. Conduct a minimum of 3 visits per week to the restaurant for content capture. Maintain a content calendar aligned with campaigns, themes, and events. Foster community engagement by responding to comments and messages.
- Advertising & External Marketing Tie-Ups: Identify and manage advertising opportunities, including social media ads, Google Ads, and local print or digital publications.
Establish partnerships with local businesses, influencers, and media outlets for cross-promotions, events, and collaborations. Explore sponsorships and partnership opportunities to expand brand visibility.
- Operational & Culinary Collaboration:
Spend dedicated time in the restaurant working collaboratively with the chef to understand the story, legacy, and culinary philosophy.
Translate these insights into compelling marketing content and storytelling.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as social media engagement, online reviews, campaign ROI.
Provide regular reports and insights, adjusting strategies to optimize results.
- Coordination & Miscellaneous Tasks:
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for content, designs from agency, marketing collaterals, and promotional activities.
Support unexpressed or ad-hoc tasks that align with marketing objectives.
**Requirements**:
- Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in social media content creation, digital marketing, and brand positioning. Strong storytelling and visual communication skills.
Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for food, hospitality, and Italian culture is a plus.
- Expected Commitment:
Content Visits: Minimum of 3 visits per week to the restaurant for content capture & operations Content Strategy: Focus on reels-heavy content with a target of at least 12 posts per month (including reels, carousels, stories). Ideate, discuss & execute different trending content if applicable.
- Coordination: Ongoing collaboration with internal teams and external vendors for content, campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Additional Activities: Flexibility to support special events, last-minute marketing initiatives, and unplanned tasks as required.
- This role is designed to be a high-impact, multifaceted position, combining creative content development, strategic marketing planning, operational engagement, and external partnership development to maximize the restaurant’s market presence and success.
