(Skin Panel Draw Tool)

**Job Description**:
Press Tool Designer specializing in skin panel draw tools to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing press tools specifically tailored for skin panel draw processes in the automotive industry. Required expertise in tooling design and deep understanding of the unique requirements of skin panel draw processes will be essential in creating efficient, reliable, and high-performance tools.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to understand the specific requirements and constraints of skin panel draw processes.

2. Utilize CAD software (such as Catia) to create detailed and accurate designs of press tools for skin panel draw operations.

3. Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate the practicality and cost-effectiveness of proposed tool designs, considering factors such as material properties, production volume, and cycle time.

4. Optimize tool designs to maximize efficiency, minimize waste, and ensure high-quality output.

5. Perform design reviews with stakeholders to gather feedback, address concerns, and incorporate necessary modifications.

6. Stay updated on industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices related to skin panel draw processes and press tool design.

7. Generate comprehensive documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, to support the manufacturing and quality assurance processes.

8. Work closely with toolmakers and machinists to oversee the fabrication, assembly, and testing of press tools, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.

9. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve any design-related issues or manufacturing challenges that may arise during tool production or operation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as CATIA, and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of skin panel draw processes, including deep drawing, stretch forming, and trimming operations.
- Familiarity with materials commonly used in automotive body panels, such as steel, aluminum, and advanced high-strength alloys.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to anticipate and address potential design challenges.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience with simulation software (e.g., AutoForm) for press tool analysis and validation is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
