**Job Title: Press Tool Design Engineer**

**Company**:Precision Pressing Manufacturers**

**Location: Pimpri Pune**

**Salary Range: INR 20,000 - INR 27,000 per month**

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**1. Develop and Revise Detailed Manufacturing Drawings**:

- Utilize 3D and 2D CAD software, including SolidWorks, to create and update detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Ensure all drawings include necessary dimensions, tolerances, materials, and assembly instructions.

**2. Tool and Fixture Design & Development**:

- Design prototype tooling, fixtures, and gauges to support the manufacturing and quality assurance processes.
- Interact with cross-functional teams (CFT) for reviews, trials, and evaluation of components/tooling elements.
- Perform engineering calculations related to press tool design.

**3. Technical Support and Problem-Solving**:

- Provide technical support to the manufacturing team, addressing and resolving any issues or discrepancies related to drawings.
- Utilize strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and improve design and manufacturing processes.
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance the quality and efficiency of drawing release processes.

**4. Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Participate in design review meetings and provide clear explanations of design decisions and changes.

**5. Change Management**:

- Manage the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process to document, review, and approve changes to released drawings.
- Ensure that revised drawings undergo the same review and approval process as initial releases.
- Maintain an organized and accessible system for tracking and managing design changes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in 3D and 2D CAD software, particularly SolidWorks (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
