Key Responsibilities
- **Design Creation**:
Conceptualize and design sheet metal products, components, and systems, including enclosures and structural parts.
- **CAD Modeling**:
Use CAD software to create detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and engineering specifications for fabrication.
- **DFM Analysis**:
Incorporate Design For Manufacturing (DFM) principles to optimize designs for efficient production, minimizing waste and cost.
- **Material & Process Selection**:
Select appropriate materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, stainless steel) and fabrication processes (bending, welding, cutting) for designs.
- **Collaboration**:
Work closely with engineers, production teams, and manufacturing personnel to review designs and address fabrication issues.
- **Prototyping & Testing**:
Manage prototyping and testing phases to validate designs and identify areas for improvement.
- **Documentation**:
Ensure that drawings and specifications are consistent with fabrication and machining processes.
- **Technical Support**:
Provide technical information to support quoting, purchasing, and production activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- **Education**: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is often required.
- **CAD Software Proficiency**: Expertise in CAD/CAM software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.
- **Sheet Metal Knowledge**: Deep understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes, including bending, forming, cutting, welding, and fastening.
- **Material Expertise**: Knowledge of various sheet metals and their properties.
- **Problem-Solving**: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot design challenges.
- **Communication**: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per month
