**Food Preparation**: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes within your designated station(s) according to the menu and recipes provided. This may include tasks such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
**Station Management**: Take charge of your designated station, ensuring all necessary ingredients are available and that equipment is in good working order. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in your area.
**Menu Knowledge**: Have a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients, cooking techniques, and presentation. Be able to answer questions from other kitchen staff or waitstaff regarding your dishes.
**Quality Control**: Monitor the quality of ingredients and dishes at your station to ensure they meet the established standards. Report any issues or discrepancies to the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
**Adherence to Recipes and Standards**: Follow recipes and guidelines provided by the Head Chef or Sous Chef consistently. This includes portion sizes, cooking methods, and plating techniques.
**Collaboration**: Work closely with other members of the kitchen team to coordinate the timing of dishes and ensure that all components of a meal are ready at the same time. Communicate effectively with colleagues.
**Training and Mentorship**: Assist in training and supervising junior staff members assigned to your station. Provide guidance on techniques, recipes, and kitchen protocols.
**Inventory Management**: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records for your station. Notify the appropriate personnel when supplies are running low.
**Health and Safety Compliance**: Follow all health and safety regulations and practices, including proper food handling and storage, to maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.
**Creativity and Innovation**: Contribute to menu development by suggesting new dishes, cooking techniques, or ingredient combinations. Collaborate with the Head Chef in creating seasonal or special menu items.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
