1. Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Identify and target existing schools for conversion into Birla Open Minds International Schools.
- Conduct in-depth market research to discover potential areas for school acquisitions and
expansions.
2. Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies for school acquisition.
- Set and achieve conversion targets for the assigned region.
3. Relationship Building & Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with school owners, management, and key decisionmakers.
- Present Birla Open Minds’ educational philosophy, curriculum, and brand benefits effectively.
4. Due Diligence & Negotiation:
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence to ensure potential schools meet Birla Open Minds'
standards and vision.
- Lead negotiations and manage contracts with prospective schools, securing favorable terms for
both parties.
5. Brand Integration & Transition Management:
- Ensure smooth transition and integration of acquired schools into the Birla Open Minds brand.
- Collaborate with academic, operational, and marketing teams for alignment with Birla Open Minds
International School standards.
- Address and mitigate challenges during the transition process.
6. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with marketing, academic, and operations teams to streamline school transformation
efforts.
- Provide ongoing feedback to senior management regarding market trends and acquisition
strategies.
7. Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Track and report acquisition performance, including meeting sales targets, pipeline development,
and conversions.
- Regularly update leadership on progress in the assigned region.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in education sales, business development, or school acquisition.
- Proven experience dealing with school owners and senior stakeholders in the education sector.
- Expertise in managing end-to-end acquisition processes, from prospecting to closing deals.
**Skills**:
- Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
**Desired Competencies**:
- In-depth understanding of the K-12 education landscape.
