**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Patient Communication**:
Handle inbound and outbound calls from patients in the US, addressing billing inquiries, explaining charges, and assisting with payment processing.
Provide empathetic and efficient customer service to enhance the patient experience.
**Client Communication**:
Communicate with US-based clients to gather necessary information for billing processes.
Update clients on billing activities, address inquiries, and maintain positive client relationships.
**Appointment Scheduling**:
Assist in scheduling appointments for US-based patients, coordinating with healthcare professionals and ensuring accurate information dissemination.
**Documentation and Record Keeping**:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and client communications in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Update patient accounts with relevant information obtained during calls.
**Information Verification**:
Verify patient and client information, ensuring compliance with US healthcare regulations.
Cross-reference data to identify and rectify discrepancies.
**Problem Resolution**:
Address and resolve issues related to billing discrepancies, account inquiries, and other concerns raised by US patients or clients.
**Qualifications**:
Previous experience in customer service, specifically in a US-based healthcare or medical billing setting.
Excellent verbal communication skills with a professional and culturally sensitive demeanor.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with US medical terminology and billing practices.
**Education and Experience**:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an international US medical billing environment.
