- Identifying and managing surplus or obsolete materials
- **Order Processing**:

- Reviewing project requirements to generate purchase orders
- Communicating with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
- Monitoring and managing vendor relationships
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintaining detailed logs of material receipts, issues, and transfers
- Generating reports on inventory levels and usage for project management
- Compiling data for cost analysis and budget tracking
- **Site Management**:

- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the material storage area
- Implementing safety procedures for material handling and storage
- **Staff Supervision (if applicable)**:

- Training and supervising storekeepers or material handlers
- Delegating tasks and ensuring efficient workflow
