Job Title: Continental Chef (Commi 1, Commi 2, Commi 3, CDP, DCDP, Sous Chef)

Location: Chanakyapuri, Delhi

**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Food Preparation:

- Prepare and cook a variety of Continental dishes, including pizzas, pastas, salads, and main courses, according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food items are cooked and presented to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Monitor portion control and maintain consistency in food preparation.
- Menu Development:

- Assist in the development of menus, including suggesting new dishes and innovative twists on traditional recipes.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal menus and daily specials.
- Kitchen Operations:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients, equipment, and utensils.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Assist in inventory management and stock control to minimize waste and ensure freshness of ingredients.
- Team Leadership and Training:

- Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen staff, including Commis and Kitchen Assistants.
- Conduct training sessions to ensure all kitchen staff are familiar with recipes, cooking techniques, and safety procedures.
- Collaboration:

- Work closely with other kitchen staff, including Sous Chefs, Pastry Chefs, and Stewards, to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of food orders.
- Quality Control:

- Conduct regular quality checks on food items to maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.
- Address any customer feedback or complaints related to food quality promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working as a Continental Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized culinary institute is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Continental cuisine, including pizza and pasta preparation techniques.
- Excellent culinary skills, including knife skills, cooking methods, and presentation techniques.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)

**Experience**:
