About Us: We are an exciting new seafood restaurant located in Panaji, Goa, inspired by the vibrant Goan and Portuguese culinary traditions. Our focus is on using fresh, locally sourced seafood to create unique dishes in a warm, inviting atmosphere. We are looking for a talented Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our team and contribute to our innovative and high-quality menu.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to restaurant standards, focusing on seafood and Goan/Portuguese cuisine.
- Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in menu development and daily operations.
- Ensure the kitchen area is clean and organized, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring they meet the restaurant’s standards.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist in stock management.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, ideally in a seafood or fine dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of Goan, Portuguese, and European cuisine.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Excellent cooking and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- A passion for fresh, local ingredients and creative culinary techniques.
