To oversee statutory compliances, government liaison, and local community relations for our manufacturing facility in Gujarat & Maharashtra. The person would be responsible for ensuring that our operations are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations, while also building positive relationships with government officials and the local community.

**Location**:Malad/Dahej

**Education**: LLB / PG Diploma in Labour Law

**Work Experience**:10-15 years of experience in statutory compliances, government liaison & Industrial Relations preferably in the chemical industry

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to our operations in Gujarat.
- Employee Relations, disciplinary, legal matters etc.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain and renew various factory licenses and permits.
- In coordination with internal stakeholders ensuring timely filing of all the returns required as per labour laws
- Liaison with government officials at the local, state, and national levels to build positive relationships and represent the organization's interests.
- Necessary Licences / Permits - Acquiring and renewals (for Land, machineries, processes, equipment etc.)
- Local Community Relations. Build and maintain positive relationships with the local community, including community leaders, residents, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in industry associations and forums to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and regulations in the manufacturing sector.
- Provide guidance and support to other departments on matters related to statutory compliances and government liaison.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize risks associated with non-compliance or negative community relations.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
