**Job Title**:Clinical Nurse**
**Job Summary**:
A clinical nurse is responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients within a clinical setting. Working under the supervision of nurse managers and healthcare providers, clinical nurses assess patient needs, develop care plans, administer medications, and coordinate patient care activities. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and provide support to patients and their families throughout the healthcare journey.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Patient Assessment and Care Planning**:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and psycho social needs.
- Develop individualized care plans based on assessment findings, evidence-based practice guidelines, and patient preferences.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to establish goals and priorities for patient care.
- **Direct Patient Care**:
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and nursing protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatment interventions.
- Provide wound care, dressing changes, and other nursing interventions as needed.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and mobility.
- **Patient and Family Education**:
- Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Provide instruction on medication administration, dietary modifications, and home safety measures.
- Address patient questions, concerns, and misconceptions to promote informed decision-making and adherence to treatment regimens.
- **Documentation and Charting**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including nursing assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
- Document nursing interventions, patient responses, and any changes in condition in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- **Communication and Collaboration**:
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, including physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff, to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Participate in inter professional rounds, care conferences, and shift handoffs to exchange relevant information and promote continuity of care.
- Advocate for patients' needs and preferences within the healthcare team and facilitate communication between patients and providers.
- **Quality Improvement and Compliance**:
- Adhere to clinical practice standards, regulatory requirements, and institutional policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, such as audits, data collection, and performance improvement projects, to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
- Contribute to evidence-based practice by staying current on best practices, research findings, and innovations in nursing care.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
- Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) may be preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning.

**Salary**: ₹8,086.00 - ₹34,671.58 per month
