About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual looking to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accounts Payable (AP): Process invoices, verify approvals, and ensure timely payments to vendors. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding receivables. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment issues.
- General Ledger (GL): Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and analyzing financial data.
- Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting software.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process by collecting and analyzing financial data.
- Internal Controls: Adhere to internal control procedures to ensure the safeguarding of company assets.
- Audits: Assist with internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation and explanations.
- Compliance: Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform other related duties as assigned by the Company heads.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance (preferred, but recent graduates with strong internships will be considered).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Tally) is a plus. Specify if required.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Experience in the FMCG industry is a plus.

Pay: ₹33,000.00 - ₹41,000.00 per month
