**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with the preparation of department budgets, financial statements, and other reports
- Processing requisitions, checking account balances, and approving purchases
- Manage internal operations related to purchases, vendor billing, payments, etc. Looking for ways to optimize costs while maintaining quality level
- Advising other departments on best practices related to fiscal procedures
- Proficient at managing account records, issuing invoices, and handling payments. Ensuring timely bookkeeping
- Collaborating with internal departments to reconcile any accounting discrepancies
- Analyzing financial data and assisting with audits, reviews, and tax preparations
- Updating financial spreadsheets and reports with the latest available data
- Reviewing existing financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory complianc
- Providing assistance with payroll administration
- Keeping records and documenting financial processes

**Desired Background**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or in a related field
- At least 2 years experience working as a finance associate
- Extensive knowledge of accounting standards, fiscal procedures, and tax laws
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Great analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Superb organizational and time-management skills
- Prior experience and proficiency in working with Zoho books is preferred

**Desired Competencies**:

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel & Outlook, and communication software
- High attention to detail and meticulousness
- Comfortable in verbal and written communication
- Ability to learn quickly to be able to understand organizational processes and follow them
- Must be well organized and methodical in approach and be able to manage filing/database system
- Must be a values-driven individual with a high degree of integrity
- Willing to work with cloud-based accounting software
