- ISS Market Intelligence is looking for a Data Analyst to join to join the Mumbai based Research team in support of our U.S. Research team. The Data Analyst will send clients requests for surveys, review client survey submissions, and work with client data contacts to confirm their responses and resolve any discrepancies. Coverage will focus on a recurring series of sales and staffing benchmarking surveys but may also include other survey research products.
- This individual will work under the guidance of the Project Manager - Data and Reporting, will collaborate with the ISS MI Research Data Operations team on their initial data QA findings, and will communicate with client data contacts on survey submission statuses and resolution of data issues. Additionally, the Client Data Analyst will gain broad exposure to sales, staffing, and productivity trends across asset management, annuity, life insurance, and retirement industries.- Responsibilities- Core responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:- Partner with ISS MI Research Data Operations and U.S. Research teams on sales and staffing benchmarking survey data
- Review, interpret, and finalize Data Operations QA results for all client survey submissions in preparation for escalating data issues to client data contacts
- Own outreach to client data contacts to collect survey submissions and effectively communicate data issues
- Process clients' data restatements and ensure their restatements as well as any qualitative vetting responses are of acceptable quality to proceed with data finalization
- Proactively identify client data collection and review process improvements and work with Project Manager - Data to implement
- Support Project Manager in preparing final reporting process of results- Required Qualifications-
- University Degree with academic distinction
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization
- Demonstrated ability to work with quantitative data
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to proactively manage time to achieve target dates
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with other teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)- Desired Qualifications-
- Experience summarizing or articulating data issues to internal or external teams
- Familiarity with basic Excel formulas like VLOOKUP, SUM, AVERAGE
