**Job Title**: Banking Domain SME / Product Owner

This person will take a key role on our team and must excel in bridging business and technical requirements to deliver high-value solutions.

**Job Duties**:
This person will be responsible for driving product vision, strategy, and delivery in the banking domain. The role includes gathering requirements, defining roadmaps, and ensuring alignment between stakeholders and development teams. Job duties of a Banking Domain SME / Product Owner:

- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with customer and business needs.
- Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Drive the product lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to deliver solutions that meet market demands.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product strategies.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and security standards in all product designs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and aligning on priorities.
- Monitor product performance, define success metrics, and iterate on improvements based on feedback.
- Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives with agile teams.
- Provide insights into emerging trends in the banking and financial services industry to influence product direction.

**Expected Experience and Skills**:

- Deep understanding of banking operations, financial products, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories.
- Experience in agile product management, backlog prioritization, and roadmap planning.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and effective communication.
- Expertise in risk management and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Familiarity with digital banking solutions, fintech trends, and emerging technologies.
- Proficiency in using product management tools like Jira, Confluence, and roadmapping software.
- Banking certifications (e.g., CTP, CFSA) or equivalent knowledge preferred.

**Background and Minimum Requirements**:

- A Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or associated fields, or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of:

- 10+ years of professional experience in the banking domain or product management roles.
- Proven expertise in driving digital transformation in banking or financial services.
- Knowledge of formal product management techniques and tools.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills to drive collaboration and deliver high-impact products.
