As a cross functional team of experts, we create and execute comprehensive market access strategies through the integration of pricing and reimbursement, health technology assessment, evidence-based medicine review, and health economic modeling activities. Your expertise and innovative approach will enhance the value of our medicines and the impact to patient outcomes. Role Summary: The Patient Ambassador role is an externally facing role (>50%) engaging directly with HCP’s,, patients and patient advocacy organizations, and appointed third party patient support program vendors to generate insights and map the patient journey across Pfizer’s therapeutic areas, as well as assist/support the patients & HCP’s in the patient journey.. The role also aims to work with patients to facilitate co-create educational and awareness materials or support tools and services. **Responsibilities**: Patient Insights and Patient Journey - Provide detailed insights on the patient experience back to the business - Facilitate/help in the patient journey and patient support programs in key therapeutic areas for Pfizer Inc - Feed insights and journey into the access strategy and launch excellence where required - Identify areas of unmet need and inequity where Pfizer could assist - Identify areas of improvement for timely and accurate diagnosis - Identify areas to assist patients with the navigation of the system Patient education - Providing and/or overseeing third party vendor’s hands on patient education - Quality Use of Medicines - Facilitating authentic co-creation of education materials for patients - Facilitate digital ad boards with patients - Role informs patient educational material - Facilitate Usability testing for patients - websites/apps Patient champion - Act as internal advocate for patients - patient centricity and participation in Patient Ambassadors Network. - Share insights, including patient support program metrics and bridge (including oversight of vendors to do the same) to the HCP community Qualifications: - Base degree Science, Business or equivalent. Advanced degree a plus.- 4-10 years of Experience in managing multi-dimensional and long-term relationships with patient, community and provider organizations required.- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives and partnerships with external stakeholders and with cross functional colleagues in a complex matrix structure.- Must have an established track record of coalition building in complex environments.- Must have a superior ability to accomplish company goals in a matrix environment.- Must be comfortable with change and dealing with ambiguity- Include demonstrated ability to act with integrity in a business environment as reflected in MAPP, the Blue Book and Country regulatory requirements Pfizer is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable equal employment opportunity legislation in each jurisdiction in which it operates.
