**Qualification - BVSc /MVSc/PhD.**

The veterinary doctor under a specific department is critical to the success of AVCF. They will be a key member of the founding team and they will be crucial to ensure our hospital becomes an efficiently functioning high quality clinical site; supporting both the setup and the final delivery. She/he work with team of clinicians, nurses and support staff to deliver a high-quality emergency and critical care service. This role will have oversight of our client facing triage services, responsible for ensuring that the appropriate care and attention is provided to the small animals. It will be an individual contributor role working alongside with a team of clinicians.
- Develop and deliver that appropriate training to the nurse and vet cadre to ensure we achieve a high standard from the day of launch.
- Develop written and recorded protocols so that there is a clear way of working into which future staff can be inducted.
- Work within the team on seeing clients, leading rounds, and overseeing the clinical care of all patients in the hospital - ensuring that all animals have appropriate clinical plans.
- Role-modelling outstanding clinical professionalism - an ambassador for good professional behavior and compassionate leadership.
- Audit production and analysis to ensure we are leading with both our data capture and our review process. Delivering our ambition to be a data driven centre of excellence
- Participate in all mandatory teaching, training and research programs of the hospital.
- Participate in all accreditation processes.

**Skills and Competencies**
- An outstanding clinician with an internationally recognized specialist qualification in or equivalent.
- Capable of making pragmatic clinical decisions where owner, animal, facilities or staff dictate.
- A strong leader who is willing to lead from the front and express opinions with confidence.
- A team player who’s self-motivated and able to deliver their core role without prompting
- Deadline-driven, organized and able to multitask
- 2+ years of veterinary practice
- Strong verbal, written able to communicate challenges with equipment in a clear and concise fashion.
- Commitment to foundation’s core values, mission and purpose.

**Salary**: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Rotational shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Veterinary: 2 years (preferred)
