Commis Chef/cdp

**Job Title**: Commis 1
**Location**: Jakkur, Bengaluru
- Prepare and cook **continental dishes** (Sandwiches, salads, pasta, sauces, etc.) as per the restaurant’s standards and recipes.
- Assist the **Chef de Partie** in preparing mise en place for all sections (hot, cold, and pastry if required).
- Ensure **proper seasoning, plating, and consistency** in dishes before service.
- Maintain **food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness** in compliance with HACCP & FSSAI standards.
- Monitor **stock levels**, assist in inventory checks, and minimize food wastage.
- Handle kitchen **equipment and tools** properly, ensuring safety procedures are followed.
- Work in coordination with other kitchen staff for **smooth kitchen operations**.
- Follow portion control guidelines and **standardized recipes**.
- Assist in **training and mentoring junior commis (Commis 2 & 3)** when required.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum **1-2 years** experience in a similar role, preferably in **continental cuisine**.
- Diploma or certification in **Culinary Arts / Hotel Management** preferred.
- Strong understanding of **grilling, roasting, sautéing, baking, and sauce preparation**.
- Ability to work in a **fast-paced, high-pressure** kitchen environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- **Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays** as per business needs.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
