Precision for Medicine is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our global team, working in India (remote based position).

**Position Summary**:
This position is responsible for supporting the daily operations and maintenance of the accounts payable function.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the accounts payable requirements by vendor
- Provide support to ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close
- Responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the payable function in Infor General Ledger System including, but not limited to: entering vendor invoices, processing employee and consultant expense reimbursements, obtaining required information and documents for new vendor setup, ensure compliance with company policies and project guidelines, etc.
- Preparation of weekly payment batches
- Responding to vendor inquiries on payment and providing remittance advices on payments processed
- Provide internal customer support to employees and consultants related to payment inquiries
- Collaborate with others in Finance to support overall department goals and objectives
- Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow and internal controls
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Track and record monthly corporate card expenses

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Required**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

**Other Required**:

- A minimum of 2+ years' prior experience in an accounts payable or financial environment

**Preferred**:

- Associate degree in business related field a plus
- Experience with ERP Financial Systems
- Microsoft Office

**Competencies**:

- Working knowledge of accounts payable or Infor or related software package, strong PC skills including excel and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- High energy and enthusiasm with a strong commitment to exceeding expectations.
- Flexibility and willing to work on multiple assignments of varying tasks with personnel throughout the organization
- Ability to learn quickly. Good oral and written communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and build relationships with management and others throughout the organization
- Exhibits self-motivation, and is able to work and plan independently as well as in a team environment
- Team player with a desire to be an active, long-term participant in the growth of the company
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to adhere to strict deadlines
