**What you’ll do**:
**Job Profile**
This Employee Relations role is responsible for a range of employee relations activities which may include leading projects for the ER function, act as central point of contact for Group ER on Group wide project deliveries, etc
This role will be located within the HR function, reporting to a more Senior HR role, to be precise Regional Head of ER for ASP. The role is an individual contributor role.
The role holder will:
- Support the ER function in managing the governance and implementation of ER policies & procedures including development of new and revision of existing operational policies
Support the Regional Head of ER in leading projects for the Region and when needed for the Group
Co-ordination of project governance arrangements and manage the collection, collation and processing of project information from stakeholders and be the central point of contact between ER leads in the Region and Group ER
- Liaise with ER leads in the Region to ascertain feedback on policies and procedures and act as a central point to coordinate the feedback between Group ER and ER leads in the Region
- Responsible to trigger and communicate changes brought in to policies and procedures within ER
- Support Regional Head of ER in coordinating and organising ER related activities such as training / awareness sessions, News letters, etc
- Support Regional Head of ER for the role as Risk Steward for Emplormeee Relations & Policy in monitoring and co-ordinating risks and issues for the Region
- Support Regional Head of ER in activities relating to budgets and expediture for ER teams in the Region
Requirements
Experience & Education:
- Professional qualification in HR or employment law
- At least 8 to 10 years’ experience in Employee Relations / HR Business Partner / Legal Consultancy, with demonstrated understanding of employee relations / case management / investigations.
- Knowledge or experience of financial services
- Regional or global experience preferred
- Corporate experience and regulatory / government experience an advantage, but not essential
**Skills**:
- Strong understanding of Employee Relations Principles for handling employee grievance / conduct / whistleblowing issues, business transformation, regulatory hearing / litigation management.
- Ability to identify, analyze / evaluate and resolve ER issues and provide consultation to management. Lateral thinking/problem solving skills.
- Strong written and communication skills with experience of management presentation, report writing, drafting guidance materials/policies etc.
- Strong listening, negotiation and analytical skills necessary for coaching business representatives, managers & employees.
- Ability to manage effective interactions with senior management in a matrix organization. Ability to successfully work with and constructively influence colleagues and multiple stakeholders
- Strict adherence to the requirements of confidentiality, discretion and integrity. Demonstrates positive and collaborative values and behaviors reflected across all people delivery touch points.
- Strong customer focus and employee experience perspective, as well as external best practice and best practice understanding
**Control**
