Introduction:
The role is to support the Financial Business Partner in Corporate Banking team, by producing Management Reports for Monthly Business Review meetings and Leadership meetings, provide insights on business performance and support ADHOC queries. Liaise with other Finance teams to ensure our books are closed as expected and perform system reconciliation (if required) to ensure the completeness of the book. During the planning cycle and stress testing activities, support the FBP to manage and update the models. Contribute to the projects and strategic initiatives of the team including transformation activities.
What will you be doing?
- Understanding of accounting methodology to manage any changes for group/cluster requirement.
- Perform month close activities and publish Management reporting with insights on business performance
- Transition new activities as and when required.
- Own and be accountable for the deliverables.
- Provide value addition and move up the value chain.
- Contribute effectively to transformation projects
- Be proactive in identifying and implementing process improvement and ensuring a strong control environment
What we’re looking for:
- Extensive experiences in Month-End close activities and Management reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills, proficient in designing innovative solutions to drive efficiencies and good report presentation skills.
- Relevant professional qualifications, E.g. Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA), Post grad qualifications with relevant experience
- Proven track record of high performance in previous role(s)
