We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role **AVP -** Finance Change **Delivery GSC’s.**

**Principal responsibilities**:

- Perform the development (coding) documentation and implementation of stress testing models with SAS toolset for wholesale & Retail Credit Risk, covering technical design and documentation, coding of the component, testing of the component.
- Supporting testing (FT & UAT) and overall delivery of the solution by working together with the Stress test Delivery Manager and other suppliers (e.g., IT).
- Ensure delivery reduces hand offs yet increasing interaction between various Country teams, Region and Group business teams across Finance and Risk.
- Ensure the use of SAS toolset reduces lead time to delivery and aligns to strategic direction so that cross-functional development is usable.
- Design should help embed standard processes, systems, and operational models into the BAU approach for end-to-end execution of stress tests, enabling the organization to leverage HSBCs global economies of scale.
- Ensure that the delivered solution follows robust, industrialized procedures and all controls / governance are followed through the change cycle.
- Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points, together with any issues raised by external regulators.
- The role supports the project lead of SPST (Strategic Planning & Stress Testing) Credit Risk Finance Change Delivery on SAS development function, delivered as per the agreed plan through engagement with business stakeholders, IT and operations function for a successful Credit Stress Test execution.
- The role holder will work with a large Global Finance team that delivers complex transformational and important regulatory change.
- Build trusting partnership with Finance Change Delivery (FCD) Stress Testing project team to effectively deliver the required output for closure.
Requirements

**What you will need to succeed in the role: (Minimum Qualification and Skills Required)**
- Excellent knowledge and interest in the new SAS toolset and roadmap
- Knowledge of Big data (Hadoop/Hive/Cloudera) and experience working in Linux terminal
- Knowledge and experience of agile project management methodologies and working with JIRA, Confluence and GitHub
- Knowledge of Cloud based technologies and Python coding language is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of Credit Risk Stress Testing and Projections is advantageous.
- pySpark/Spark advantageous
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
