Job Summary

The Store Keeper is responsible for the efficient and accurate management of all incoming and outgoing goods within the automotive store.1 This role involves maintaining a well-organized inventory, ensuring proper documentation, and supporting the smooth flow of parts and materials to meet production and service demands.2

Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management:

- Maintain an organized and tidy store layout to ensure easy access to all parts and materials.
- Perform regular stock counts and perpetual inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and re-order points to prevent shortages or overstocking.4
- Receiving and Dispatching:

- Receive incoming goods, verify them against delivery notes and purchase orders, and inspect for any damage or defects.5
- Accurately record all incoming and outgoing stock in the inventory management system.6
- Prepare and pack parts for dispatch to various departments
- Ensure all necessary documentation (e.g., GRN - Goods Receipt Note, material issue slips) is completed accurately.
- Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory transactions.8
- Generate regular reports on stock levels, consumption rates, and stock movement.9
- Assist in preparing reports for audits and management reviews.
- Operational Support:

- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed within the store.10
- Coordinate with different departments (e.g., Production, Maintenance, Sales) to fulfil their material requirements in a timely manner.11
- Operate store equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, if required and certified.

*Required Skills and Qualifications

*- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field.
- Experience:

- Proven experience as a Store Keeper, ideally within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Experience with inventory management software (Tally) is highly desirable.12
- Skills:

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word).13
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (e.g., automotive parts).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.

**Salary**: 18000K - 20000K
