The Store Keeper is responsible for overseeing the management of inventory and stock levels within the store or warehouse. This includes receiving, storing, and issuing goods, maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring the organization and cleanliness of the storage area, and assisting with stock audits. The Store Keeper will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations related to the management of goods and supplies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Receive goods and verify quantities and quality against purchase orders or delivery notes.
- Store goods in designated areas in an organized and accessible manner.
- Ensure the accuracy of stock records and track inventory levels.
- Update and maintain inventory records in the system, and regularly check for discrepancies.
- Conduct regular stock audits and assist in preparing stock reports.
- **Stock Handling**:

- Ensure stock is stored safely, handling it carefully to avoid damage.
- Assist with the issuing of stock to relevant departments or customers as required.
- Monitor stock rotation, ensuring that older items are used or sold first to minimize wastage.
- **Order Fulfillment**:

- Prepare and pack items for delivery as per requisition or sales orders.
- Ensure all goods are properly labeled and identified for easy retrieval.
- Monitor stock levels and report to management when stock is low, suggesting reorder requirements.
- **Safety & Maintenance**:

- Ensure the storage area is organized, clean, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols in handling goods and materials.
- Conduct routine checks of stored items and report any damage, spoilage, or loss.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of goods received, issued, and remaining stock.
- Create and file documentation for inventory transactions.
- Assist in generating monthly or quarterly inventory reports for management.
- **Communication**:

- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Purchasing, Sales, etc.) to fulfill stock requirements.
- Respond promptly to inquiries about stock levels or item availability.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Store Keeper or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining stock records.
- Good physical health for manual handling and lifting of stock.
- Basic understanding of safety and hygiene standards in storage areas.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

**Educational Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Degree or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
