A "Relationship Manager in the Insurance Sector, Agency Channel Creation" role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with insurance agents and brokers to develop a robust agency network, driving new business through their channels by actively recruiting and onboarding new agents, while providing ongoing support and training to maximize their sales potential and achieve company insurance targets within the agency distribution channel. Key Responsibilities:
- **Agency Recruitment and Development**:
- Identify and recruit potential insurance agents and brokers to expand the agency network.
- Conduct thorough onboarding processes for new agents, including product knowledge training, compliance guidelines, and sales techniques.
- Regularly assess agent performance, providing coaching and mentorship to improve sales skills and productivity.
- **Relationship Management**:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within partner agencies.
- Proactively engage with agents to understand their needs and concerns, addressing them promptly.
- Communicate new insurance products, promotions, and company updates to agents effectively.
- **Sales Support**:
- Provide ongoing support to agents throughout the sales cycle, including lead generation, proposal development, and customer presentations.
- Assist agents in overcoming sales objections and closing deals.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted marketing campaigns for agency channels.
- **Performance Monitoring and Analysis**:
- Track key metrics like agent production, renewal rates, and new business generated through agency channels.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance agency performance.
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate agency channel performance to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- **Strong Sales Acumen**:Proven track record in insurance sales, with experience in managing agency channels.
- **Relationship Building Skills**:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with agents and brokers.
- **Business Development**:Ability to identify new business opportunities and recruit potential agents.
- **Training and Coaching**:Expertise in delivering effective training sessions to agents on insurance products and sales techniques.
- **Market Knowledge**:Thorough understanding of the insurance market, including competitor landscape and regulatory requirements.
- **CRM Proficiency**:Ability to utilize CRM systems to manage agent relationships and track sales activity.
