Job Description: Bending Machine Operator**Roles and Responsibilities**
- **Machine Setup and Operation**:

- Set up and operate bending machines, including CNC and manual machines, to bend and shape materials like sheet metal, tubes, and bars according to specifications.
- Select and install appropriate tools, dies, and machine settings for each job.
- Perform trial runs to ensure proper machine setup and adjust settings for optimal performance.
- **Reading and Interpreting Blueprints**:

- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand bending requirements.
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances to achieve the desired output.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect finished parts for accuracy, dimensions, and quality using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and angle gauges.
- Identify and address any defects or deviations from specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of quality checks and production outcomes.
- **Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the bending machine to ensure it operates efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues during operation.
- Notify the maintenance team or supervisor about significant machine malfunctions.
- **Material Handling**:

- Load raw materials onto the machine and ensure proper alignment.
- Monitor material usage and report shortages or issues.
- Safely handle, store, and organize raw materials and finished products.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Follow workplace safety standards and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
- **Process Optimization**:

- Monitor machine performance and suggest improvements for efficiency and waste reduction.
- Implement best practices to achieve consistent quality and productivity.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate logs of machine settings, production runs, and downtime.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about production progress, challenges, and deadlines.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other production team members to meet project deadlines.
- Assist in training new operators on bending machine operation and safety protocols.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Proven experience in operating bending machines (manual and CNC).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in handling materials.
- Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and protractors.
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards and procedures.

**Work Environment**
- Requires standing for long periods and working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels.
- Involves handling heavy materials and operating machinery.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
