**About the role**:
This is a remote, full-time consulting position (contract).

You will be responsible for managing a team of Engineers working on Insights platform. You will help solve the complex customer and engineering issues and feature requirements and in building relevant products, some from scratch. Your resourcefulness, creative problem-solving and ability to deliver products on schedule will be immensely valued.

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow best practices required for appropriate design for business relevant use cases.
- Responsible for giving technical direction to the scrum teams short term and long term
- Collaborative working style with strong focus on disciplined execution and delivery

**Requirements**:

- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience on Web Development
- Work closely with clients to establish technology solutions at business and technical level.
- Lead design, estimation, planning, and implementation of business solution
- Establish high, mid and micro level plans working with a Project Manager.
- Ability to assess and understand the skill and technology needs for the requirement and be able to mitigate any risks in the planning and execution stage.
- Ability to design Microservices based solution.
- Experience in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular JS, JQuery, React, Bootstrap
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Experience in Node.JS, JEE (nice to have is Java 8), Spring, Oracle RDBMS (11g and above)
- Experience in RESTful web services, JSON.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Experience with other development tools such as Eclipse, Junit, Maven/Gradle, Git
- Experience with design documentation tools such as MS Visio.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written).
- Delivery focus with prioritization of release contents working with developers and test engineers.
- Go-getting attitude with self-learning abilities, self-motivated and should be a role-model to the team.
- Ability to work well with customers, engineers and product managers and in a cross-team environment across multiple verticals.
