Job Title: Solution Architect – Healthcare Domain

Location: Remote (1–2 days/month onsite at any HCL location in India)

Shift: 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM IST

Experience Required: 8+ years

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with strong expertise in healthcare technology and cloud-native architectures. The ideal candidate will have prior exposure to NHS/healthcare projects, deep knowledge of FHIR R4 UK, SNOMED CT, and proven experience designing secure, scalable solutions in regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver scalable, secure, and compliant architectures for healthcare projects.
  • Drive solutioning with MIG connectors, EMR integration, and interoperability standards.
  • Collaborate with frontend and backend teams, ensuring smooth coordination (Material UI).
  • Work within Agile delivery frameworks (Rally or similar tools).
  • Define and implement data interoperability standards with FHIR R4 UK and SNOMED CT.
  • Lead architectural design on AWS Cloud including Secrets Manager, containerization, and cloud-native patterns.
  • Establish robust authentication frameworks and access control models.
  • Implement asynchronous data aggregation, caching, and performance optimization strategies.
  • Guide development teams in mono-repo and CI/CD pipeline best practices.
  • Communicate architectural decisions to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar role.
  • Strong healthcare domain knowledge (NHS, EMR, CDS regulatory frameworks).
  • Deep expertise in FHIR R4 UK, SNOMED CT, and healthcare interoperability.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS architecture, Secrets Manager, containerization, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Proficiency in frontend-backend integration (Material UI).
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, secure system designs in regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management tools (Rally preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Up to ₹100,000.00 per month
