
Assistant Chef

We are a 3-star hotel located in the heart of the city of Bengaluru, being the Karnataka Golf Association (KGA) as the center of attraction.
We are looking for a hard-working, dedicated, sincere, and loyal assistant chef to join our team.
**Job Roles and Responsibilities**:
**1. Food Preparation**
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily food preparation tasks.
- Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients according to recipes.
- Measure and mix ingredients as directed.
- Prepare basic dishes like salads, sauces, soups, or appetizers.
**2. Cooking Assistance**
- Cook dishes under supervision and follow exact instructions.
- Ensure correct cooking temperatures and portion sizes.
- Plate dishes with attention to presentation standards.
**3. Kitchen Hygiene & Cleanliness**
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen stations and food storage areas.
- Follow hygiene and safety regulations (HACCP/FSMS).
- Properly store leftovers and perishable ingredients.
**4. Inventory & Stock Support**
- Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies.
- Inform the chef/supervisor of shortages or spoilage.
- Follow the FIFO (First In First Out) method while using ingredients.
**5. Team Coordination**
- Cooperate with other kitchen staff and support smooth kitchen operations.
- Attend daily kitchen briefings and follow instructions.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
