Key Responsibilities:

- **Curriculum Management**:

- Designing, updating, and implementing the science curriculum for the school.
- Ensuring the curriculum aligns with educational standards and caters to diverse learning needs.
- Incorporating innovative teaching methods and up-to-date scientific advancements into the syllabus.
- **Teaching Leadership**:

- Leading and mentoring science teachers to ensure effective delivery of lessons.
- Providing professional development opportunities for teachers, such as workshops or training sessions.
- Observing classrooms, providing feedback, and helping teachers improve instructional techniques.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Overseeing the design and implementation of assessments (tests, projects, experiments).
- Monitoring students' academic progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Coordinating regular performance reviews of science students.
- **Resource Management**:

- Ensuring the availability and maintenance of science laboratory equipment and resources.
- Managing the department's budget for resources, textbooks, and laboratory supplies.
- Collaborating with other departments to organize extracurricular science events, such as science fairs.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Coordinating with school administration, staff, and parents about students' performance.
- Managing the department's communication with external stakeholders, including education authorities.
- Promoting interdisciplinary learning within the school community.
- **Strategic Planning and Development**:

- Setting goals for the science department and working towards achieving them.
- Keeping up-to-date with educational trends, particularly in the field of science education.
- Implementing strategies for enhancing student engagement and interest in science.

Qualifications and Skills:

- **Academic Qualifications**: A degree in science (e.g., BSc or MSc) along with a teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, M.Ed).
- **Experience**: Several years of teaching experience in the science field, with leadership or management experience in education.
- **Skills**:

- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the science curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students and staff alike.
- Proficiency in using educational technology for teaching and assessment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
