As an Admission Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in representing our university and assisting prospective students in their educational journey. Responsibilities Include:
1. Prospective Student Guidance:
- Provide accurate and comprehensive information about the university's programs, admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, and campus facilities.
- Assist students in the selection of appropriate courses, considering their interests and career goals.
- Conduct informative presentations and participate in education expos to attract potential students.
2. Admissions Process Management:
- Evaluate qualifications and eligibility of applicants based on specific program requirements.
- Collaborate with the Admissions Team to facilitate smooth and efficient admissions operations.
3. Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective students, parents, and partner institutions.
- Foster relationships with school counselors, agencies, and community leaders to promote the university and increase awareness.
- Collaborate with other university departments to ensure a seamless transition from admissions to enrollment.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze admission statistics and trends to develop strategies for recruitment and enrollment optimization.
- Provide suggestions for improving the admission process and enhancing the student experience.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in any discipline (a background in counselling, business, marketing, or education is preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and proficiency in regional languages is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for building relationships and rapport.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience in admissions counselling, sales, or educational consultancy would be beneficial.
