**Job Purpose**

The Librarian will manage the school library as a dynamic learning hub, fostering a culture of inquiry, research, and a love for reading. The role supports academic excellence by integrating library use across the curriculum.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Curate and organize resources aligned with academic needs.
- Guide students in research, reading selections, and academic honesty.
- Maintain discipline and promote library etiquette.
- Conduct sessions on digital literacy, research methods, and plagiarism prevention.
- Oversee library circulation, cataloguing, acquisitions, and reporting.
- Regularly analyze library usage and recommend resource updates.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree + Master’s in Library Science OR Bachelor's in Library Science.
- Knowledge of library management systems, cataloguing, and digital resources.
- Familiarity with CIE curriculum (preferred).

**Skills and Attributes**
- Avid reader and student role model.
- Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt to different age groups with firmness and composure.

**Experience**
- 3-5 years in a school library (preferred).
- Freshers with passion for library management may also apply.
