**Start Date: 1 March 2025**

**Role Overview**:

- Make the library a vibrant centre of learning.
- Collaborate with teachers for curriculum enhancement and support learning objectives through resources, activities, and projects.
- Curate a diverse collection of multilingual resources, including books, digital materials, and multimedia resources, that cater to the interests and reading levels of students, and also reflect on different cultures, perspectives, and areas of inquiry.
- Organise the library to facilitate independent exploration, research, and collaboration.
- Guide students how to do ethical research and cite sources responsibly.
- research projects, presentations, creative writing activities, or multimedia productions etc
- Integrate technology tools and digital resources into library activities to enhance student engagement and learning through educational apps, online databases, interactive ebooks, and multimedia platforms that support inquiry-based learning and digital literacy.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the school library and be adept in digital library resource management.
- Maintain archival records of the school, including digitally.

**We Are Looking For**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Library Science (B.Lib) or equivalent.
- Prior experience of 5-7 years as a librarian.
- Strong knowledge of library management software and digital resources.
- Passion for reading and promoting literacy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creative, proactive, and organized.
- Ability to engage and inspire young learners.
- Familiarity with the latest trends in education technology and digital libraries.
