Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Deputy Librarian located in the Mohali district. The Deputy Librarian will be responsible for managing library services, overseeing library science activities, handling metadata, and providing library instruction. Other responsibilities include organizing library management systems and ensuring the smooth operation of library services to support academic and research activities.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. (pursuing) & Master's degree in Library Science or related field
  • Library Services and Library Management skills
  • Expertise in Library Science and Metadata
  • Experience in providing Library Instruction
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in an academic or research library is beneficial
