Position Overview

The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for hunting new business opportunities from both existing and new customers within a defined sales territory. This role involves managing a pipeline of sales opportunities to achieve sales targets. The position requires engaging with clients across various industries and geographies, utilizing tools and resources provided by Autodesk to deliver market-leading design software solutions. Collaboration with field-based Partner Managers, License Compliance teams, and channel partners is essential.

Responsibilities- Customer and Territory Management:

- Report to the Territory Sales Hub Manager and prioritize high-opportunity accounts within the assigned territory
- Develop value-driven messaging and account plans to address customer needs and timelines- Business Development:

- Generate and close new business opportunities to maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Identify key decision-makers and influencers, understanding their needs, budgets, and project timelines
- Conduct cold calls, prospecting, and outreach to achieve sales targets- Customer Engagement:

- Act as a trusted advisor, articulating how Autodesk solutions align with customer goals and accelerate their business success
- Collaborate with channel partners and field-based Territory Sales Executives to enhance territory performance and customer satisfaction
- Build and lead cross-functional teams for opportunities, including presales, consultants, and service personnel- Forecasting and Reporting:

- Provide accurate billing forecasts and updates to the sales manager
- Exceed monthly sales targets, quotas, and key performance indicators (KPIs)- Value Creation:

- Help customers achieve success and develop reference stories showcasing positive outcomes with Autodesk solutions

Minimum Qualifications- Experience:

- 8+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, including selling complex technology solutions in inside sales or field sales
- Proven ability to exceed sales targets, quotas, and KPIs
- Experience managing multiple concurrent sales cycles and engaging with executive-level stakeholders- Skills:

- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage challenging situations with positivity and professionalism
- Proficient in database management and CRM tools
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)- Work Environment:

- Hybrid work setup, based in Bangalore
- Applies knowledge of best practices in practical situations
- Independently handles day-to-day responsibilities with mínimal guidance
- Solves complex problems with creative solutions by leveraging data analysis and judgment
- Demonstrates full understanding of Autodesk products and services
- Networks with senior internal and external personnel in the area of expertise to enhance sales performance
