Job description
Should have 10+ years of experience on multiple Talend products (DI, ESB) with having a good understanding of Talend roadmap.
Experience with performing key architecture and design in the area of Talend DI and ESB.MUST BE TALEND CERTIFIED
Talend MDM, mastering, catalogue certificationExperience with managing a community of practice (especially Talend) consisting of ETL developer responsible for data movement and transformation across various data assets in DaaS (Data-as-a-service) using multiple ETL tools including Talend, IBM DataStage, Informatica etc is strongly preferred.
Experience with establishing the roadmap for the ETL practice for DaaS and providing leadership with an on-going focus on reusability, scalability and innovation within the community of practice.
Prior experience with identifying and recommending opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency of the business unit and/or team.
Experience with API/first architecture design, distributed systems (e.g., microservices, Virtualization) and cloud infrastructure for large scale data warehouse, data lakes, data fabric
Extensive hands-on experience with building tools/accelerators for migrating from one ETL tool to other including migrating to Snowflake etc.
Should be able to manage stakeholders at various levels independently and understand the client s IT state and business. He / She should be able to build a team and guide team members towards quality delivery and focused up skilling.
Experience in solutioning / Architecting Talend project including infrastructure sizing etc
Should have worked in min 4-5 Talend SQL projects
Good knowledge in Database and strong SQL knowledge
Should be able to transfer Business Requirement to Technical Document
Should be able to do Estimation of effort based on the requirement
Hands on experience Talend DI with database and file handling
Knowledge of SDLC / Agile methodologies and tools
Primary Skills
Experience with API/first architecture design, distributed systems (e.g., microservices, Virtualization) and cloud infrastructure for large scale data warehouse, data lakes, data fabric.
