About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MDM Lead to drive end-to-end Master Data Management initiatives, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and governed enterprise data across domains. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in MDM implementation, data governance, data integration, and leadership with the ability to design solutions, lead a team, and collaborate with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of MDM solutions across multiple data domains (Customer, Vendor, Product, Finance, Employee, etc.).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data stewards, and IT teams to define MDM strategy, data standards, and governance frameworks.
• Own and manage data quality, enrichment, cleansing, and stewardship processes.
• Define and enforce data governance policies, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• Manage data integration between MDM, ERP, CRM, and downstream systems using ETL/ESB tools.
• Provide technical leadership in MDM platform design (Informatica MDM, Reltio, TIBCO EBX, SAP MDG, or similar).
• Lead a small-to-medium MDM project team (developers, analysts, data stewards) ensuring on-time and quality delivery.
• Conduct data profiling, root cause analysis, and issue remediation for critical enterprise datasets.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and data quality scorecards to track the effectiveness of MDM initiatives.
• Work with business users to prioritize enhancements, manage UAT, and drive adoption of MDM solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 9+ years of total IT experience with a strong focus on Master Data Management.
• Hands-on expertise in Informatica MDM / Reltio / TIBCO EBX / SAP MDG / IBM MDM (any major MDM platform).
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data modeling, and metadata management.
• Proficiency in ETL tools (Informatica PowerCenter, Talend, etc.), SQL, and API integration.
• Experience with cloud-based MDM solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end MDM implementations (from strategy and design to deployment).
• Excellent understanding of data quality management, hierarchy management, and survivorship rules.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence business and technology partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in insurance, BFSI, or financial services domains.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and global delivery models.
• Certification in Informatica MDM, Reltio, or Data Governance is a plus.
