**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and organize the school library, ensuring it is well-stocked with relevant books, journals, and digital resources.
- Assist students and teachers in locating information and resources to support academic research and projects.
- Provide library orientations for students and staff, teaching them how to utilize the library’s resources effectively.
- Maintain records of library inventory, including books, magazines, and digital materials.
- Curate reading lists, recommend books, and promote literacy among students through activities and book clubs.
- Organize library events, such as author visits, book fairs, and reading challenges.
- Support students in their academic and personal development by guiding them toward appropriate resources.
- Collaborate with faculty to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
- Handle the day-to-day administrative tasks related to the library, including issuing and returning books and managing overdue materials.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Bachelor’s Degree** in Library Science or a related field.
- Prior experience working as a **librarian** in a school or educational institution is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of library management software and digital resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for reading and promoting literacy among students.
- Ability to manage student behavior and create a positive and focused learning environment.
- **Immediate joiners preferred.**
