**Description**:

- Responsible for monitoring, administering and supporting the backup infrastructure to ensure 24/7 uptime.
- Will have day to day backup and restore responsibilities, as well as troubleshooting failed backups and all issues with backup infrastructure server and Tape Library components.
- Managing & supporting Commvault Simpana 9.x/10.x and backup software.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of various storage and backup solutions including hardware/software support.
- Responsible for gathering requirements, installation, configuration, build and testing of backup and recovery software in a high availability environment.
- Maintain backup policies and procedures, including the overseeing of the appropriate retention criteria.
- Work independently and coordinate with different operating systems’ teams, as necessary, to troubleshoot backup issues.
- Perform backup/restore requests for Windows and VMware environment.

- Working on disaster recovery scenarios and enforce backup and archival procedures.
- Troubleshoot performance issues related to the backup and recovery environment and recommend solutions.
- Maintain all equipment for backup environment to include servers, disk, and backup storage devices.
- Responsible for responding to support tickets and coordinating with different vendors including Commvault, Dell, IBM, etc.
- Create and maintain documentation.
- Maintain current knowledge regarding latest backup and storage technologies and trends.
- Ability to work in a team based environment with mínimal supervision.
- Domain Id creation/deletion part is carried by Backup team

**Salary**: ₹280,499.65 - ₹1,240,595.05 per year
