Backup Administration Level 1 -2 support for Commvault Backup solution.
- Installation of Backup client on the physical server and virtual server.
- Installation of Veritas netback up software and configuration of client and server.
- Daily Backup Monitoring
- Re-running of failed backups
- Level troubleshooting of failed backups
- Escalating backup failures to next support level, Co-ordination with system administrators
- File System data restoration
- Monitoring of Tape libraries and tape drives
- Monitoring different types of error code during Veritas backup
- Troubleshooting of tape drives, Media inventory and media rotation
- Monitoring of server's performance and backup scheduling activities.
- Analysing Logs for identifying the root cause of backup failures.
- Preparing backup status report daily and Monthly Basis.
- Backup and Monitoring and Implementation.
- Making Inventory for Tape & Onsite & Outside
- Making Backup Report for Every Day
- Making Policy in Backup Console.
- Making restoration as per request & scheduled.
- Manage and maintain the backup systems.
- Ensure backups are run to schedule and retention is met.
- Verify all full backup jobs.
- Maintain an audit trail of backups and restores.
- Provide reports on job success/failure. Raise event alerts.
- Perform file/database/VM restore operations as required.

**Salary**: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year

- Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- 4-6 years (preferred)
- Commvault (preferred)
