**Job Title**: South Indian Chef (CDP - Chef de Partie)

**Location**: Ravishing Retreat Resort, Ramanagar, Bangalore

**Salary**: ₹25,000 - ₹30,000 per month

**Experience Required**: 3-4 years

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Preparation and Cooking**: Prepare, cook, and present a range of South Indian dishes to a high standard, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
- **Menu Development**: Assist in the creation and development of menu items, focusing on traditional South Indian flavors and innovative presentations.
- **Ingredient Management**: Oversee the selection and procurement of ingredients, ensuring the use of fresh, high-quality produce.
- **Kitchen Management**: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, and manage kitchen staff as needed.
- **Quality Control**: Monitor and maintain the quality of food, ensuring that it meets the resort’s standards and guest expectations.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other kitchen staff and departments to ensure smooth operation and timely service.
- **Training**: Provide guidance and training to junior kitchen staff and apprentices, fostering skill development and team cohesion.
- **Inventory Management**: Assist in managing inventory levels, minimizing waste, and optimizing ingredient usage.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: 3-4 years of experience as a South Indian Chef or in a similar role, with a strong background in South Indian cuisine.
- **Skills**: Proficient in traditional South Indian cooking techniques, including dosa, idli, sambar, and various regional specialties.
- **Education**: Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred.
- **Personal Traits**: Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- **Communication**: Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
