**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Travel to different schools and NGO partner locations to deliver training and support.
- Teach and communicate with students using sign language, adapting methods to individual learning needs.
- Prepare students for job placements by developing employability and life skills.
- Counsel students and build strong rapport to foster trust, motivation, and growth.
- Conduct local job mapping to identify potential employment opportunities suitable for SHI students.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and activities.
- Create and present detailed reports on student development and program outcomes to the reporting manager.
- Conduct sensitization sessions at employer sites to raise awareness about working with persons with speech and hearing impairments,

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Special Education, or related field (preferred).
- Certification or training in teaching students with hearing impairment.
- Proficiency in Indian Sign Language (ISL) is mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and counselling skills.
- Ability to travel frequently and manage multiple locations.
- Organized, empathetic, and goal-oriented.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3+ years of experience working with students with hearing impairments or in a similar role.

**Essential Skills and Attributes**:

- Proficiency in Indian Sign Language (ISL): A must-have for effective communication and instruction.
- Empathy and Patience: Ability to understand the unique needs of SHI students and support them with care and sensitivity.
- Strong Communication Skills: Verbal and non-verbal skills to collaborate with teams, students, and external stakeholders.
- Counselling Abilities: Capability to support students emotionally and guide them through career and personal development.
- Organizational Skills: Efficient in maintaining student records, planning lessons, and preparing reports.
- Adaptability & Flexibility: Comfortable with traveling to various locations and adjusting to diverse learning environments.
- Problem-solving Skills: Especially when addressing challenges related to placements or student learning.
- Team Player: Able to collaborate with NGOs, schools, and other educators effectively.

**Working Hours**:

- 10 am - 6 pm / Mon-Fri

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
