Introduction:
What will you be doing?
- Analyzing and evaluating Euro money markets and other interest rate instruments
- Updating and analyzing various databases and models maintained by the team
- Writing-up ongoing updates, keeping track of relevant news reports
- Working with the London team to generate new ideas as well as produce and publish research reports
- Achieve familiarity with the regular tasks of the broader team to aid in coverage when team members are travelling or on leave.
- Assist in maintaining, and updating, the team’s existing suite of automated frameworks. Ensure that relevant databases are kept up to date in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure marketing packs are updated as required.
- Attend internal conference calls and read macro-economic and global rates research to stay up to date with developments.

What we’re looking for:

- Bachelors Degree from IIT or premier engineering college (CFA desirable)
- Skills in statistics, econometrics including time-series analysis, cross-sectional techniques
- Proficient in econometrics and statistical packages such as Eviews and STATA
- Basic programming skills in at least one coding languages such as Python, R, Matlab or SAS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good creativity and ability to work independently or in a team
- Understanding of financial markets and instruments

IAR Regulated Role

This role is deemed as a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
