**Job Overview**:
The **Executive - Operations & Claims** will be responsible for managing policy administration, claims processing, and client servicing for an insurance brokerage firm. The role requires strong coordination with insurers, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth operational efficiency and claims management.
**Key Responsibilities:1. Policy Administration & Operations**:
- Handle end-to-end policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
- Ensure timely documentation and communication with insurers and clients.
- Maintain accurate records of policy data in internal systems.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for quotations, proposals, and policy servicing.
- Assist in compliance with regulatory requirements and company SOPs.
**2. Claims Management**:
- Assist clients in lodging insurance claims and coordinate with insurers for smooth processing.
- Verify claim documents, assess coverage, and ensure all necessary paperwork is submitted.
- Follow up with insurers, surveyors, and loss adjusters for claim settlements.
- Keep clients updated on claim status and timelines.
- Support negotiations on claim disputes and escalate issues when required.
**3. Client Servicing & Support**:
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries related to policies and claims.
- Provide clients with guidance on policy coverage, claims procedures, and documentation.
- Ensure timely responses and resolutions to client queries.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and relationship management.
**4. Reporting & Compliance**:
- Prepare periodic reports on policy status, claims progress, and outstanding cases.
- Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations and internal audit requirements.
- Assist in process improvements and automation of operational workflows.
**Key Skills & Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in insurance operations, claims handling, or broking.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies (GMC, Motor, Property, Marine, etc.).
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and insurance software.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience working in an insurance brokerage firm.
- Familiarity with IRDAI guidelines and regulatory compliance.
- Certification in insurance (e.g., III Certification) is a plus.
