**About SEWA Ruaab**:
SEWA works with a joint strategy of Struggle and Development. While the work of rights involves long-term struggle, SEWA also aims to support economic empowerment by addressing the practical need of women for more income-generating work. Members of SEWA have done this time and again by women of a trade group coming together to register for-profit enterprises, where Women are Owners,

Women are Managers, and Women are Beneficiaries. We call these collective social enterprises or

सामूहक उयोग. SEWA Bharat supports a cohort of 10 grassroots social enterprises which includes SEWA

Ruaab, an artisan producer company based out of New Delhi.

SEWA Ruaab, an artisans’ producer company, began out of SEWA in 2009, India’s largest movement of informal women workers when home-based embroidery workers in Delhi and weavers in Bihar sought a solution to the economic and social exploitation that women faced in the garment supply chain. Women in the informal sector face a myriad of problems, such as low wages, sweatshop conditions, and bonded and child labour. Ruaab is owned and run by artisans, providing them with control of their work and their production. Ruaab aims to uplift our artisans through dignified work, by providing them with a voice and control over their economic decisions. We also provide connections directly to social services through our connection with SEWA to provide social benefits.

**Scope of Work**:
SEWA Ruaab has recently established its presence on various digital platforms (social media, website,

Indiamart, etc) for brand building and marketing. The Communication & Digital Marketing Associate will support all branding and communication efforts for this collective social enterprise to increase the visibility of their work, eventually leading to sales opportunities. We are looking for a Communication &
Digital Marketing Associate with a strong background in written communication, social media management, and content development for all kinds of promotional campaigns including online advertisements. We are looking for a self-starting team player. This person’s key responsibilities would be to strategize and create content (both written and visual) for SEWA Ruaab’s online and offline properties such as website, social media, third-party e-commerce platforms and artisan work centers.

**Tasks & Deliverables**:
1) Website content for Ruaab a) Manage content on SEWA Ruaab’s website and ensure all other web properties such as

Indiamart etc. remain up-to-date b) Write product descriptions and other content for the website c) Develop business-oriented messaging for the website, bearing in mind that it has the features of a social enterprise. While these entities must make profits, their primary aim is achieving social impact, which is the economic empowerment of members

2) Digital marketing for Ruaab’s digital properties: social media, website, and third-party platforms a) Handle social media channels; strategize, design, and execute posts on a regular basis for visibility b) Track social media and website analytics for growth of channels c) Running online advertising campaigns on social media, Google, etc. with initial support from mentors

3) Design and develop key communication assets a) Follow the enterprise’s style guidelines to develop assets as required b) Plan and develop online and offline marketing collateral such as report formats, letterheads, packaging, etc c) Commissioning or carrying out projects for product photography and videography as required d) Maintain a content repository of communication assets - photos/videos, design assets, case studies, etc.

4) Build capacity of grassroots women by conducting regular training sessions and promote peer learning - cellphone photography, data collection, video recording, storytelling etc.

5) Day-to-day coordination with Jaipur cluster and manage sampling/production together with cluster incharge.

**Key Skills & Qualification Required**:
1) Any graduate with 0-1 years of relevant experience.

2) Background in social media management.

3) Good content writing & communication skills in English and Hindi

4) Basic knowledge of Digital Marketing

5) Understanding of web analytics.

**Desired Skills & Qualification (not necessary)**:
1) Textile Design Graduate.

3) Knowledge of hand block printing.

**Location**:
Jaipur or New Delhi with travel upto 10 days a month to micro clusters in different project locations.

**Salary**: ₹9,968.31 - ₹37,556.63 per month
