Literature Festival Program Assistant

**Profile Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist the festival team in curating and organizing the festival's literary programs.
- Coordinate with authors, speakers, and presenters to confirm their participation and session details.
- Assist in the development of session themes, topics, and schedules.
- Conduct research on literary topics, authors, and trends to inform festival programming.
- Maintain work reports and track the delivery status of various festival-related projects.
- Coordinate with producers and line producers to ensure timely completion of production work and maintain production reports.
- Develop and maintain internal project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines.
- Coordinate the flow of work within and between departments to ensure a smooth process for all festival-related activities.
- Create various MIS reports, track key metrics, and initiate quality process improvements.
- Manage people and resolve issues or conflicts that may arise during the planning and execution of the festival.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for authors and presenters, addressing their queries and providing necessary information.
- Prepare and maintain passport particulars for visa processing and ensure timely submission.
- Assist the team to Distribute session cues and information to authors and ensure they are well-prepared for their appearances.
- Assist the team to Schedule and queue sessions for all authors, ensuring a smooth flow of events.
- Work closely with the production team to coordinate technical requirements for each session.
- Assist in the setup and execution of festival activities, including stage management, author signings, and audience engagement.
- Provide logístical support to ensure all on-ground operations run smoothly.
**Qualifications**:
- A Bachelor's degree in Literature, English, or a related field with a deep passion for books, literature, and the arts.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, during the festival period.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
