**Roles and Responsibilities**:
This mechanical estimation role requires understanding of various mechanical systems prevalent in the construction industry, including heating, ventilation, public health services, and protective services, accurately estimating project costs, preparing bids, and should have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects to European standards and specifications.
- Prepare estimates and calculate costs:
**Systems**
- Heating installation including heating centres, heating systems, radiators, and underfloor
- Cooling Installation including air conditioning, chillers etc.
- Public health services including above ground soils & wastes, sanitary ware, and rainwater
- Water services such as domestic water, mains water, boosted water, and fire mains.
- Ventilation systems including ductwork, plant & equipment, fire & smoke dampers, and air conditioning systems.
- Protective services such as sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, dry risers, wet risers, gas detection, and suppression systems.
- Gas & oil systems including natural gas, medical gas, LPG, and oil systems.
- BMS/BEMS, testing, and commissioning.
- External Services, water mains, irrigation systems, fire hydrants
- Process Pipe work including plant equipment

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering / quantity surveying or an equivalent trade qualification.
- Comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems including heating, ventilation, and plumbing.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools like Trimble contract, Planswift, Bluebeam and Navisworks.
- Experience in the following types of contracts is an advantage
- Design & Build, Designed by the Employer, Logistics (Distribution centres, etc.)., Education (Third level colleges), Health Services (Hospitals, etc), Residential, Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences, Data Centres,Industrial/Food Processing Plants.

**Working Hours**:
8 am - 5:30 pm GMT Monday
- Thursday

8 am - 4 pm GMT Friday

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
